Hey,

Im going back to Dubai from my vacation in Canada. While I was here I purchased an eleaf istick 50w along with an aspire atlantis tank. I plan on bringing it with me to dubai but i dont know if I should put it in my check in luggage because some sites say to remove the batteries but the isticks batteries are non removable. I was just wondering I should still put it in my Checked baggage.

Thanks!

Although I'm having a difficult time finding recent information on vaping in the UAE, the last I heard it was still banned, and your equipment may get seized by customs in Dubai. This was as of October of last year, and they were talking about easing restrictions at that time.
I don't know if they have yet.

When I went to Canada, I didn't take any of my vape stuff. Going to and coming home from Canada, there were signs indicating to have e-cigarettes in checked bags, batteries removed if the device was able to do so. I saw many people going through security with vaping stuff and they didn't look a second time at the stuff. I would be more worried about Dubai than Canada.

When I look up posts about this on Google. I see a variety of answers. The majority of people say their devices are confiscated going into Dubai, but a few people are allowed to keep them. What I see, it's illegal in Dubai again I'm not 100%, it's just what I see when I looked it up at the moment.
