Since I started vaping, I have not had a single analog... Until today. I dunno. I'm ADD and have prescription meds for it, and those meds make me CRAVE cigarettes like nothing I've ever felt before. What makes it worse is that my Dr. recently upped my dosage. vaping has always worked just fine, but a few hours ago I was sitting in my dorm vaping and just had this HUGE urge for a cig. I crave sometimes, but I can usually fight it off. Not this time. I got jittery and started to sweat thinking about it. My 24mg wasn't strong enough. I'd take three drags simultaneously, hold it in, and exhale. That usually gets me a pretty decent buzz going, even after a full day of vaping. It still wasn't enough. So I went to the gas station and bought a pack of camel menthols. The worst part is, it wasn't even satisfying. It tasted bad and stunk up my car that I just cleaned, vaccumed, and aired out for weeks to get the smell out. I feel sorry for the air-freshener in that thing.. It's being eaten alive as we speak.

I know this is a common problem. I see all the posts of people who slip up every now and then, but it doesn't make me feel any better. :(

Hey, I keep 36mg for truly dire circumstances. Just an idea. I'll do a carto of 36 and then go back to 24. But don't sweat the slip. Just figure a plan for the next time.
When I first started I kept a 36 close by for bad days, or drinking nights......after about 6 month of vaping, the desire for ciggies just fell off the map. But great tip I completly forgot about...good looking out 36

I think E-cigs are unique particularly in one area: It is impossible to relapse.

What I mean is, alcoholics can't even have just one drink or they'll relapse be hooked all over again. (Hard) drug addicts can't have just one shot or puff or they'll relapse and get hooked all over again. Before E-cigs, smokers couldn't have just one puff or they'll relapse and get hooked all over again. After E-cigs, most ex-smokers can have one puff or a dozen and they won't relapse because the PV is such a good substitute (even better, really) that you can go back and forth as you desire and not worry about getting hooked all over again.

I mean, technically it's because you're still hooked no matter which delivery method you're using, it's just that one is really bad for you. But I don't really consider it relapsing, and having a smoke or two once in a while I don't think is really that bad. Well, unless you've got those new carpet glue cigs...
