Hi, i knocked over my e-cig and the drip tip hit the floor causing the upper hardware to come apart. i managed to temporarily fix this by sticking a few loom bands around the top of the tank and then putting the upper hardware back in place. its now vaping nicely again. does anyone know where i can buy a replacement upper hardware in the uk? or the hollow replacement tank?. or does anyone have any better fixes than what ive done so far?

Upper hard ware? You mean the knurled top section that screws onto the glass with the chimney leading down to the coil? I would think it should just screw back on, but would be concerned you broke the glass tank....

you can get another on ebay (you gotta read on those sellers though) some are in the UK or google who sells that stuff there
or fasttech, if you don't mind waiting weeks on weeks (still haven't gotten my first order in)
or just order one that comes with a metal tank too, and it has a glass one as well then use the metal on your broken one and now you've got two.

yes the knurled top section, the chimney screws into the tank but the part that holds the drip tip doesnt screw back on. just kept falling off the chimney. i use a metal tank so no issue of broken glass
sorry to clarify the tank is not broken its the upper hardware. the drip tip base and chimney that screws into the tank that has broken apart.

Hmmm that stuff just screws back into the top of the tank, did it bend or something?
Serenikitty just ordered some parts directly from Aspire. This may have been the porthole she used.

If I'm not mistaken, those 2 pieces are pleasure fit together. You can try to push them together with the glass off..... but IDK is it'll work.
I tried that only way i managed to temporarily solve it was the loom bands i used...ordered replacement direct from aspire. hopefully it holds out until then. thanks all for advice and suggestions. starting to think this tanks more hassle than its worth
The "metal" parts broke on the nautilus? Holy cow.
For a clearo that costs as much as some cheaper mods, that astounds me.
If you don't care how stuff looks, when you are in situation where might be dropped, place those wide rubber bands around both glass tank and top part that breaks off..........when and if you drop it, those wide rubber bands do offer some "bounce". I have a few colored ones on all my glass tanks, and I drop them and they never break.
The wide ones are like what you get on bottoms of broccoli, etc.

Is one "idea", would be a least resort and only if it is in fact stainless steel as I have heard..... As a welder, would only take seconds to weld it with stainless welding wire..... if you have a friend or welder locally, cant hurt to ask, especially if your gona toss it...
thanks for the rubber band advice, i've broken many glass tanks in the few months ive been vaping. i raided the kids loom bands and covered my spare glass tanks for now. will do until i get some better rubber bands. Good idea on the welding might try that if i manage to break the new one i ordered.
A thick rubber band won't keep the tank from breaking in some ways that it might be dropped, but just that little bit of rubber on the outside "will" add a layer of "bounce" to help.
You have to find the right size. Even a few properly sized O-rings would do the job. You are just keeping the glass from coming in direct contact with the surface it crashes onto when you drop it.
I'm sure there is actually a vaping "product" for this, just don't know where, and I tend to not want to buy more stuff anyway.

yeah you should be able to just twist it back on but you could always buy a new replacement tank online apire's site
