Broken Button On Mechanical Box Mod

I have a 3D printed mechanical box mod and it works perfectly fine....EXCEPT for the fact that the button doesn't work and the mod continuously fires when I put a tank or rda on it.. Does anyone know what I should do? Please respond if you can help! TY

Post a picture. If it is 3D printed plastic, how is it mechanical? How does the current flow?

Have you checked the wiring inside? Make sure the wires for the button aren't touching. If you know how to solder you could take it to radio shack and pick out a new button.

It's probably a box mod hard wired with a battery holder

Im betting it was a cheap switch and along with a low ohm build, the contact plate welded itself to the contacts.... permenent on situation... time to replace the switch... check out Digi-Key, Mouser, Ebay...

orrrr... if it has a Mosfet, it is toasted...

Most mosfet switches can handle a pretty large load, so I am guessing it was just a simple switch with low ohm build.

Yep, we need some more data. A pic would be helpful. If it's a switch, and it fried, and there's room, you might want to add a MOSFET.

There is a mosfet and it is is hard wired so its wither a broken mosfet or button.

Wouldnt it most likely be the mosfet because thats what allows the button to work?

Should be but who knows what mosfet it is and is it a P or N-channel. Do you have a link to the box?
