Broken G-Priv touch screen

I dropped my gpriv and picked up. Right when I was talking about dropping so many times I look at the glass and it's busted a tad. I know the next time I drop it it's going to spider web across all. Is it hard, worth, expensive? Does anyone know how or where to replace the glass? Any advice I looked all over the web and youtube. Thank anyone who took the time to read this and gave advice.

That's likely to be a tough repair to do yourself. I doubt there are kits for repair like for phone screens. Maybe I am wrong but the way these things are built and supported is different than an expensive phone or laptop.

Having said that, madvapes now does warranty repair for smok. It may be worth reaching out even if not covered and require a repair charge.

If you want a quick fix, go to TJ Maxx/Marshalls and buy a $5 screen protector for a smart phone with a big screen or an iPad and cut to size. That should hold everything in place for quite a while. I would reach out to MadVapes but I can't see shipping both ways and a replacement screen being less than a brand new G-Priv.

Yeah it's pretty much the truth but will like I said it's a good mod

Hello everyone. I am new here but I can tell you from my own experience that if you break the screen your only option is to buy a new mod. I dropped mine off of my tractor shattering the screen. Since it was just over 3 months old (out of warranty) Madvapes were unable to provide any help and the representative I spoke with from Smok was quite short and to the point with me saying they do not make spare parts available to be purchased. So with not being able to read the screen it makes the mod usless. So be careful and do not drop your mod.

Many of the phones you need to replace the LCD along with the glass because when the glass cracks the LCD gets damaged and many times you do not know until the glass was changed. Sorry to hear you broke your MOD but look at the bright side.......... Bigger and better next MOD?

If the glass is just cracked but completely in place I would try some thin CA glue on it. If there is any gap between glass pieces this won't work. It should wick into the crack and might hold things together and stop the crack from spreading. You would not need much. I would wipe off excess with a paper towel pretty quick unless the crack is close to the edge and the mark wouldn't bother me. Be careful not to glue your finger to the screen or the paper towel if you try this

If you use Cynoacrylate on the screen the LCD will require changing no question about it.
