Broken tip. Crazy glue?

A few days ago I dropped my KR808D-1 manual battery on the hard bathroom floor and the little grey plastic piece at the tip (that lights up like fire on a regular cig) popped off. I smashed it back in and it seemed fine. I used it for two more days but I hooked it up to charge last night and left. When I got back a few hours later, the green light was on (done charging!) but the grey end piece had poped off again. Yeah, while it was charging! I jammed it back in there but I sure it'll come out again and I might not be so lucky next time. It might come off in the grocery store, at the gas pump, etc. and I might not notice it before I leave. Can I use a dab of crazy glue to stick it back on there or what?

Well, after over a month and no replies, I went ahead and did it. The battery was fully charged and worked for maybe 2 hours and needed a charge. I put it on the USB charger and plugged it in and the tip didn't lit up like normal so I unplugged/unscrewed it and screwed/plugged it in again and still no tip light but the light on the charger was red so I left it plugged in and after about 45 min. the USB light turned green. I just tried it and it works; don't know for how long though.

Be very carefull on what types of glue you use.
Some glue types release poisonous gases (instant glue?).
If it's a part that isn't in direct contact with your mouth and/or doesn't heat up you are pretty much safe.
