I use it in a lot of stuff, I don't know any other brand that can compare to TFA's.
Best one out their IMO.

So it's like a sweetener then that's what I was assuming just wasn't sure ill try some in my next custard my thanks

It's not a sweetener it's a rich flavor enhancer just as when you bake with brown sugar.

Something on the order of 0.25-0.75% to start, it's good for some tobacco recipes or with pie crust possibly a good match for anything ginger snappy, perfect addition for making creme brulé to replicate the caramelized sugar topping.

It certainly isn't a stand alone flavor, at least not for me.
