I want to strip all paint off from my new provari and end up with a brushed stainless steel one as this is the color that i like in all of my devices.
Also it will never scratch or wear off.
So off i started removing paint from all the round exterior of the device using a 3 stage sandpaper (80 150 600) and the result came out really good.
My question is how do i remove the paint from all the dimples of the device? Or what do i have to do in order to remove all paint and make it a pure stainless steel one?

I never understood why they didnt make one in the first place

Here is a pic of the work in progress

I used a dremel on the used black one I had. I used this big red scouring pad looking thing. It worked on getting the color out of the dimples. I wanted to leave the color in the dimples but I was over enthusiastic when I was sanding :)

I did not take it apart. I was careful around the button and screen but there was a little bit of scuffing on the screen.

I'd suggest heavy duty making tape over the screen and around and over the button.

And after about 4 hours work this is the final result.

I used some sandpaper to remove the paint first and afterwards attached it to an electric drill.
I started polishing it with 600 grid sandpaper then 1000 and finished it off with 2000.
The result is a mirror finish. The added bonus is that it leaves no fingerprints at all.

I reckon Provape should hire me :)
