OK maybe some nolax on your inner threads would help as well, sometimes on the SB units that little round button thing on the inside bottom of the top contact needs to be pryed up a bit and same with the bottom of your cartos they need to be pryed out some for a good contact, hope this helps

yea i only have 2 510 cartos and i thought the switch was broke as i had just bought it from classifieds. i think the threads are starting to work better as ive been screwing it in and out. maybe theres some dirt in the threads that was preventing it from going in all the way?
No dirt, most likely an out of spec attie. There was a period where some atties would not fit the tight tolerance I was using. I had to change my tolerances because QC on the atties was not good. Working it in and out will clear some of the threads and make installing cartos easier.
