Er.. I know you don't want to hear about lighting But I have to ask.. though workable, the lighting in the above video was much darker than in your previous videos. Of course the more/better lighting you have the better the built in webcam will work.
Do you use a 3 point lighting system?
I have found there are tons of little things you can do for free or dirt cheap to make your video's better. There are a lot of places with good tips like TheFrugalFilmmaker

I have made this guys lighting stands out of PVC and
three, 6 dollar 500 watt halogen lights. Even made some reflectors out of left over PVC and white tissue paper. Cost was less than 40 bucks and this gives bright but soft light close to studio quality lighting. On a budget you could add one light a month for 10 bucks. Just an example of how I do it because I too could not spend a lot of money.
I agree with the rest of your stance. You should not have to compromise or spend a lot of money to a good video.
