My Youde Goliath will arrive tomorrow and I am trying to decide what my first dual coil will be. I'm looking for a build to chase flavor and I'm not worried about getting big clouds. I'll be using my Istick 30 and I have 26, 27, 28 and 30 gauge Kanthal. I've never built a dual coil rba before so can anyone give me suggestions for a good one?

use steam engine.

i'd go with 28 gauge, 0.5 ohm dual; should vape about 20 watts; 2mm ID 6 wraps

Kanthal A1
gauge ----- watt per ohm (per coil) for 200mW/mm2
34 ----- 1.4
32 ----- 3
30 ----- 6
28 ----- 10
26 ----- 23
24 ----- 45
22 ----- 91
20 ----- 182

Current might be a more intuitive way of thinking about it.

gauge ----- current (Amps) for 200mW/mm2
34 ----- 1.2
32 ----- 1.7
30 ----- 2.4
28 ----- 3
26 ----- 5
24 ----- 7
22 ----- 10
20 ----- 13

That atty has some pretty big wick slots. This build is great for flavor on several of my dual coil attys: 28g, 7 wraps each on a 3/32" bit or 2.5mm bit. It will be about 0.7 ohm. I think you want to use at least that size coil on that atty IMO. I run it between 20-25W.

On some of these big air attys I do this build: 26g wire, same size bits, 9 wraps each for about 0.5 ohm. This I run 40-50W.
