Build not working well

Hey ECF,

Im new here so this is my first post. I built a dual 28g parallel coil 5 wraps around a 1/8" drill and its reading at .33 ohms on my tugboat rda with my smok-e mountain vanilla mod using sony efest 18650 batt. I usually use a standard dual micro coil setup around .42 ohms but wanted to try something different but its not really working too well. The vapor production with the new build is pretty subpar but my atty and the top of my mod are getting very hot after just one or two small hits. Usually with micro coils my atty will only get hot after chain vaping for awhile and my mod has never gotten hot in the past. Ive tried rewicking it multiple times using organic cotton but its just really not working that well. Any tips or ideas on why it isnt working the way it should? Also while there is some vapor production Im getting almost no flavor whatsoever from this build. Please help me out if you have any ideas cause this is really bugging me!
:vapor:
Cheers.

Hello and welcome to the forum. Glad to have you here!:)

Hey ECF,

I built a dual 28g parallel coil 5 wraps around a 1/8" drill and its reading at .33 ohms on my tugboat rda with my smok-e mountain vanilla mod using sony efest 18650 batt.
Which battery are you using -- Sony or Efest? If efest, what color and mAh is the battery?

airflow is the key factor in < .5 ohms..... open up the holes, you should be able to do a lung hit with no restriction on the draw......

Ok thanks problem is that the tugboat doesnt have adjustable airflow but the stock holes are pretty big. I have built it at similar resistances before tho and its worked just fine :/
