Hello, my name is Steve. I just stumbled on this e-cigarette forum today while I was looking up E-cig reviews. Really cool forum with great feedback!

I smoke a pack a day nowadays so I'm planning on building my first e-cig, I have vapor experience because I ordered a green smoke starter kit while back; big mistake. Now I am planning on building my own because it seems more convenient.

So of course I'm going to start off with a Joye ego-c.

I'm going through The Electronic Cigarette Super Store | myvaporstore.com. If anyone has any better venders to buy from let me know or tell me if anyone has had good experiences going through them.

My cart consists of;

Joye eGo Rapid USB Charger
Wall to USB Converter
Joye eGo-C Twist Variable Voltage 1000mAh Battery - Blue
Joye eGo-C Atomizer Body - (Type A) - Blue
Empty Plastic Bottle with Needle Top - 30ml
Joye eGo-C Atomizer Heads - 5 Pack - (Type A) - Standard
Joye eGo-T/eGo-C Empty Cartridge (Type A) - 5/Pack - Blue
eLiquid - Vanilla - 10ml - Extra High (24mg)

If there's anything I need that I don't have, or any suggestions you guys could give me would be great.

I've never used Joyetech 's atomizer/tank system before, so I can't say, but if it was my cart, I'd ditch the Joye cartridge/atomizer setup, and get Single Coil cartos + DCT tank I see some combo on the website (Pro DCT combo something or other) where you can choose single coil cartomizer. I also saw some CE4 clearos in there that I've used before. I don't remember them being spectacular, but easier to fill. Maybe keep the atomizer body, since they look nice with just a cartomizer. Needle tip bottle is a nice find, love it!

10ml of juice probably won't last longer than a week or so IMO. I go through 15 to 20ml a week myself, so if I were you I'd add some more juice.
I also haven't used the Joye atomizers before, but that's because I never saw a review of them that had much good to say about them. The carto/clearo route is what I would also recommend.

I started out with the predecessor of what you ordered, the eGo-T, and it got me off a 50+ year smoking habit. So I will be the last person to say anything bad about them. That said, it didn't take me all that long to discover that their are things that work better.
Besides the drip tip suggested I would also add a box of cartomizers to your list. Don't worry about what resistance to get, that is why you are getting the Twist. Just lower the voltage for lower resistance cartos, and raise it for higher resistance.

Above all else, enjoy the ride ... it's a good one.

Dump the ego-c atomizers and cartridges. You'll end up with a cartomizer, clearomizer (Stardust v3), or a Vivi tank within a month anyway. Also, you are going to need at LEAST 2 batteries total, if not 3. You want backups incase you forgot to charge or one dies prematurely.

Research some popular juices and order from sites that do sample packs. It's going to take some time and $$$ to find a handful of juices you like.

The Twists are great batteries for a beginner. Make sure you get at least two, so you can use one while the other charges. When using a new atty/carto, remember to start with a lower voltage and work your way up until you find your sweet spot.

I never used the eGo-C attys, so I cannot comment on them. If I was to start out again I would also get some single coil cartos and some CE4 clearomizers or some Vision Stardust Rebuildables.

As far as juices, I would suggest you try different flavors until you find the one you like. Buy several small bottles and make sure you have enough for a couple of weeks-there's nothing worse than running out of juice if you're trying to give up analogs. Unless you will be a very light vaper, 10 ml won't even last a week (most people use 2-5 ml/day). You may also want to get some juice in a lower concentration (18 mg/ml) in case you find 24 mg/ml to be too much.

Good luck and let us know how it goes.

Send your entire list to vicki @ cignot.com ... she'll give you a package price. She should be close to the lowest you'll find, she deals in genuine Joyetech products (there are many knock-offs), and her customer service is second to none. She sold me my first kit when I started vaping, and I go back to her on a regular basis.

Hi and welcome to a great place for info.
You might save money with a kit, plus you will get 2 batteries.
After 40 years of smoking i was shocked at how easy it was with a Joyetech ego-c. Used my ego-c for a month steady, then started rotating with Vision v2 clearomizers, then stopped with the ego-c. Now useing v2 and Kanger T2, and where any of us end up, who knows.

I have ordered these from the same place recently with no problems. I have a 2nd twist on the way now. The only thing besides more fluid I would recommend is a vivi nova.

Looks like a solid kit! You don't need extra drip tip with the CE4, that being said, I do have problems with driptips, I keep buying different kinds :D. PS: I usually like having as many CE4/tank as I have juice flavors. Easy to switch flavors, just screw on the next tank.

At least 2 batteries. While one is charging you can vape with the other. Charging doesn't just take a few minutes; it takes hours. Especially with a 1000mah twist it can take several hours.

On a side note...get a kit instead. Kits usually come with 2 batteries, usb charger, and wall adapter. It's a cheaper route.

Maybe you already had ordered... But my opinion ... An ego twist "great battery to begin with" and VIVI NOVA ... Then a few juices to find one you might like" now the juice is the most difficult part " don't give up on it" and can't really tell you a particular one " cos it's subjective" only there are categories like " tabbaco - fruit - desert/sweet and beverage one like cola and so on..

Hope you find something to keep u off the STINKIES .. Good luck

    Yes its compatible.
But, the prices are more than elsewhere. Your lacking a second battery? Your going to want aleast 2, if not more. Same with the charger. Also maybe a car adapter. The ce4 is 5.50 and is not the rebuildable. You can get the rebuildable for 5.99 and just screw in relacement heads when the coil burns up. You need juice but 30ml and 50ml, you dont know if your going to like. A drip tip you only need if your going to "drip". You dont have any way to ''drip", with what you listed.
Longyboxman, this can be confusing, i know, but the important thing is anything will work and save you money and your health in the long run. The Joyetech ego-c worked just fine for me after smoking for 40 years. That can be bought as a kit for $69. Look at vaporcigzz.com or llitecigusa.com . But, if you look for a kit with clearomizers that would be good also. If i get a chance i'll see if i can find one, i know that people have linked to them on ecf. The kits just dont typically come with clearomizers.
