Built My First Coil!!

I finally built my first coil on a PT2 and got it at 2.0 ohm, pretty stoked! Now I really want to go get a kayfun!
Which one do you think is better, the lite plus or the 3.1?

I like the KFL+, have a real one and an Ehpro clone. The clone is a good place to start, and the quality of the Ehpro is very impressive. The threads on the SM are slightly better, but they vape exactly the same. Welcome, congratulations and good luck!

I have both. Hcigar 3.1 and Ehpro KFL+ and both vape pretty much the same. I do like the smaller size of the lite + so I added the nano kit to the 3.1 so now they are pretty close to the same size.

Awesome man! Rebuilding is definitely the way to go! I ran a Tobeco KFL+ and it treated me well, but I heard EHpro's clone was better.

For 3.1 vs KFL+, I guess it's up to you. I didn't really find the need for the collection chamber and I found my KFL+ for cheaper.

A B&M close to me has a Kayfun Lite (not the +) for $40.00, do you think I should go ahead and get that?
They've been very helpful in getting me started and I don't mind paying a little more.

3.1 HCigar. The Ehpro is a little to tight and can short if you adjust the connection screw. The positive deck can move a little and make contact with the negative post. I have both brands and the Ehpro can drive you nuts if you aren't careful.

The lite don't have airflow control. If you can live with that then go for it.

I would prefer to have the adjustable airflow, but ask them if you can try a pull from it (with your own mouthpiece) to see if you like how the stock airhole feels.

I would say 3.1 just for adjustable air flow and the side refill option.

Adjustable airflow also helps with juice flow. I don't always vape the same juice mix or the same voltage/wattage for different flavors. Tightening or loosening the airflow also increases/decreases juice flow and can be a very handy thing to prevent flooding or burning juice.

Get a 3.1. Much less of a pain to refill and the catch basin will prevent leaks during the learning curve.

Agreed with the 3.1 you can always get a kit that makes it look like a lite

It's personal preference, but I don't think it would be a deal breaker. If you don't care about a lot of vapor production, it should be good enough. Try asking the shop if you can try it out. I personally don't know how tight the draw is though as I went straight to the KFL+.

But 3.1 vs KFL+, you can't go wrong either way!

I went with the RSST out of necessity in an emergency and I love it. Have my coils coming in at .7-1ohm and its incredible. A definite step up. Good luck!

Ok, I went ahead and bought the Kafun Lite that the local B&M had. Air flow was perfect for me, and I just finished my first coil on it with cotton, came in at 1.2 ohms! Love the flavor!!
