I have been using RBAs for about a month now using an A8, Drunker, and Smoktech R-tank and always get a burnt taste but often sweet at the same time, like burnt saccharine. With drippers I don't get burnt but do get sickening sweet and I don't vape sweet flavors. It doesn't matter if they are made professionally or I build myself. I always use Kanthal A1 30g with 3mm silica when I build myself, always between 1.2ohm and 2,8ohm. I prime with a few drops on the tanks and wait for saturation. I have done where the coils just touch the silica and tighter like when I buy prewrapped. The Drunker gave me the least bad taste and thought maybe because the coils are all spaced perfectly apart around 2 wicks vs 1. I am determined to get this right. Please help!
