Could be a variety of possibilities. Go through the process of elimination:

  • Coil has a short, the coil resistance could be too low, the original resistance could have changed. A loose post screw can drop the resistance by as much as 0.5 ohms; I routinely check and recheck my coil resistance over time.
  • Your wick is too dry. Sometimes less is more; too much cotton within the coil can cause the wick to strangulate itself preventing enough liquid to get to the coil.
  • Your power setting is too high. Did you try dropping the wattage setting?
  • Some flavors taste better with a lower power setting (ie fruit flavors).
  • Some flavors from different manufacturers vape differently from others. Some use a poorer quality nicotine base which can cause harshness. Different manufacturers use different Pg/Vg ratios; higher Pg can cause harshness for many individuals.

Thanks mateit seems my screw is a bit loose therefore the coiling got messed up, now im firing at 0.7 ohm n the irritation is gone.
