Burned tasting carto question

If I leave a burned tasting carto in the tank will the flavor transfer to the juice? I just filled it this morning, got to work and yuck... I don't want to lose 5ml of good juice, but I don't have an empty bottle or another tank to move it to... I did stand it so that the juice is under the holes now, but it sat for a few hours before I noticed.

I think you just knead to try it and see some times it dose and others it don't
