I have a bit of a problem. I recently switched from the top coil vision/stardust type to the dual bottom coils from aspire. I have 1 anyvape davide with the aspire bdc coils and two aspire tanks with the bdc coils. For some reason when I use the VK mango madness and Flavorz by joe grape fez e-liquids the coils pop and crackle like there burning up. I get maybe a tank or so out of them and then I get really bad burnt and bland taste. is it the e-liquid im using or what.

The fruity flavors can be delicate and burn easier. I don't know the Aspire clearomizers, but I suspect you probably have different ohm coil heads you can install. The lower the resistance the more current, (amps), they will draw making more watts, (heat). If you are using a lower resistance, you could try a higher one and see if that helps. This will definitely reduce the amount of heat you'll be applying to the coils.

I have 1.8ohm heads and I can go up to 2.0ohm will there be much difference?

But the popping and sizzling shouldnt burn the coils right. Instead of tossing them when they are tasting burnt should I soak them in everclear then boil in distilled water?

no,,it happens to me after every rebuild i do

everclear\vodka overnight and then boil them for 10-15 mins and let dry,,do a qucik dry burn and you should be good to go

it works ,but i have never had any that were good as new after the cleaning

At 3.7V:

1.8 ohms = 7.61 watts
2.0 ohms = 6.85 watts

So a 10% difference in amount of heat applied to the coil. That is if the resistance marked is actually correct and in my experience it can vary by +- 0.1 ohm easily. If you have a DMM you can check the head resistance. So if the 1.8 is actually 1.7 and the 2.0 is actually 2.1 you'll have 20% less heat. If the 1.8 is actually 1.9 and the 2.0 is actually 1.9, well you get the picture ;).

You've got nothing to lose by trying it though. And you can buy higher resistance coils.

The coils are not actually burning, they are gunking up from burnt on juice residue. As denali_41 said, soak them and dry burn. I've never used these clearos, but I have used CE4's and they can be dry burned aggressively and made to last a long time. I did manage to get my coils back to full performance after a good dry burn, but you have to do it right.

Definitely don't toss the heads.

Well a little update I ditched the ego-c style battery and bought myself an MVP v2 to get me by for now. I also soaked a pair of my coils in evarclear then boiled them in tap water ( no distilled water on hand), then let sit for a couple of hours and then dry burned them it seems to work but I've only taken about 5-7 puffs since putting them back in tank.

This problem has to do with your contact pin... of the head of you atty... happens quite often
with bottom dual coils...
it is not making proper contact with the pin of your batteries or the contact post (pin) of the Mod
... there is even the times the contact pin of the bdc will not make contact at all...
.... you pull the pin of the head down just a little... and all the popping and cracking will go away...
sometimes after you pull the pin down... the next time you use that tank the bdc's pin will have worked
itself back up where it's popping and cracking again... or might not make contact at all
to prevent this... just use a little sewing machine thread
wrapped around the contact pin about 10 times firm and tie it off and then cut the thread extended ends of
with finger nail clippers and you'll never have any problems
with those BDC's again... see picture below...
