Burnt Cotten

I am using a DCT and I think the cartomizer went dry and I got this vape that tasted like burnt Cotten

I think I was not drawing hard enough to suck the juice through the hole. Any way I gave it a few good primer poofs and then gave it about ten good hits and the burnt taste went away.

Should I trash the cartomizer and put a new one in? Or is it ok to keep using this one?

I'd still use it if it tastes alright...if it tastes burnt toss it.
