Hello, I'm fairly new to rebuilding and I always get a burnt cotton taste. My setup is a single parallel coil at about .3 ohms running on a mad hatter rda on a segelei 150W. I can hit it for about 2 seconds and it tastes fine. But after I hit it any longer than that, I get that awful burnt taste. I open up the top cap and it's still soaked in liquid. How can I fix this? Thanks!

Is your coil glowing evenly from the inside out ?
It doesn't look like its wrapped evenly.
Have your cotton filling all of the inside of the coil , especially the ends of the coil.
Don't want the ends of the cotton to pull the wick down away from touching the coil.
Also start at lower watts say 40 and adjust from there.
Your coil doesn't look to be over the air hole.
Try to at least have some of it over.

Cut off the excess wires once you've secured your build.

Cowtown, USA. Where the West begins.
Concur. Put the coil in the air path, get rid of the hot spots (meaning wrap a new coil), and cut the tails flush. Then crank down the power. Start 35-40 watts and inch it up a bit at a time. First time you get a dry hit it's overpowered, so back off 5 watts and don't exceed it with that coil/wick combo.
