How to remove burnt taste?

I'm using a Patriot rda with dual stove top coils. I had my mech mod fire off in my pocket and burn the cotton wick into charcoal. I replaced the wick but it still tastes burnt. How can I fix this?

Soak everything in cheep vodka, rinse thoroughly with water and re-wick.

another method is to grab some generic and unflavored denture cleaner tablets and soak in that for a bit. they're dirt cheap and really clean. just make sure you get unflavored, not the minty ones.

I haven't tried the denture cleaner yet but I bet that works really well.

That and you could try removing all the cotton and dry burning the coils always works for me

Just rinse the RDA (sans-wick, ie: just the coils) with some cold or warm water (it doesn't really matter). Give it a "dry-burn" to get the excess water/make sure coils are firing evenly, re-wick as you normally would.
