Burnt taste from clearomizer

Hi everyone
I'm new to this forum and new to vaping and need help. So here's the story.

Today I got my 1100mAh kgo starter kit along with some ego vision 2.1-2.4ohm long wick low resistance clearomizers. I filled it up to the top mark with juice, let it sit for a while, while the battery charged and then put it all together and started vaping. The taste is a very unpleasant burnt taste. I would greatly appreciate it if anyone can help me out as to why it's burning.

Thanks

Its burning because you let the silica wick get dry and your coil is burning dry silica. As the juice gets lower in the tank, it takes longer for juice to get wicket up to the coil, and thats how that happens.

To solve this, tilt your device to keep wicks wet at all time.

If you get burnt taste even at full tank, try cutting small slits in the silicon gasket on top to allow more juice to flow into your coil.

It's not generally recommended, because it tastes gross? I've done it, and I don't think it will kill you. but definitely not good on a regular basis.
I'm not really sure what it's for to be honest.

The clearomizer has primer liquid in it. The primer liquid helps to protect the clearomizer from corrosion before it is used. This liquid is completely safe, but will alter the taste of the e-liquid for the first few hours of use. It will take about 10-15 draws of your e-cigarette before the primer liquid is burnt off.

Some people find taking a short quick 'primer puff' before taking a long draw is beneficial.
