I just recieved my unit today, it works fine with a cartomizer, but when i tried the atomizer with a cartridge i get a burnt taste, i made sure the cart is nice and wet, but not overflowing, but i didnt put anything directly into the atomizer, should i? If possible, please provide with me very specific instructions on how to get this thing working in the best way?

Thanks in advance! :)

Did you blow out the primer? Blow the atty's out into some paper towel. Add a 5 or 6 drops of your juice and do the same again. Add 2 or 3 drops to the atty and reinsert the cartridge. Give it a primer puff or two and off you go. Should be good.

ya just pull the white filler out of a cart , basically every 5-8 puffs you will add 2-3 drops , once the flavour or vapor fades its time to add 2-3 drops , u want to drip right before it tastes burnt to keep the atty nice and wet , you may flood it a few times getting the hang of it but just blow out the atty if you think its flooded ,
i aso blow out an atty to change flavours
you will just have to pull your cart off to drip and then put it back on

I Find a 306 atty is preferable. Both the 510 and 306 atties I use are low resistance. So far the 306 atties I've used have come with no primer liquid in them making them quicker to break in. I use a Reo Grand and I've found that a freshly charged battery can be on the hot side resulting in a burnt taste. Trying to combat the "hot" toke I find myself pumping more juice but this can result in splashing, I hate that. Using the plastic tip that came with the atty or a carto will greatly reduce any splash. After running the Battery down a bit then a regular drip tip and conservative squonks and I'm in Bliss. I'm starting to think I should use a standard resistance atty with a fresh charge battery and then swap in the LR after an hour or so. I think I'm starting to see what the benefits of a VV, Darwin, or kick would be :). I'm hoping they come out with a Kick that will work in my Grand soon.

Sorry I guess I digressed a bit, My points were Burnt taste from 510 atty is likely from primer I recomend the 306.
Burnt taste can be from to many volts this can be corrected by changing the ohms of your atty or using a Varible volt mod.
Yes you can use a cartridge or plastic end in place of a drip tip, which will also help if your experiancing splash.
