burnt taste

Hey everyone,

I was doing really good up until later today. I keep getting a burnt after taste and i'm not sure why. I've tried blowing out the atty and a few diff things. It will go away and come back. getting plenty of vapor, have tried diff juices and new batteries and the atty seems to be working fine. Cleaned out the connector, What am I doing wrong?

I'm using a 510 manual , with the blue foam mod from strikly juice, which seems to be wicking properly.

The burnt taste is usually because the atty is too dry. Try dripping 1-2 drops on the atty as well as keeping the cart topped off.

It can also be from the actual cart itself getting too hot/burning but thats usually more of a problem at 5 or 6 volts.

What kinda juice you using?

Also clean the filler out everyonce in a while. I soak the filler from my carts in diluted hydrogen peroxide to get all the old flavors out. They come out like new.

Part of the problem was the flavor in my mouth, I brushed my teeth and suddenly the flavor got a lot better . But your right I think the atty isn't getting enough juice.

Right now i'm using juice was stricklyejuice, where I got my kit

My sister had the same problem and it turned out she was not filling the cart enough to keep the atty wet. While you are still learning, make sure you fill the cart so that you can see a bit of standing liquid on top of the filler. It may or may not flood your atty but that is better than the burnt taste.

When you get the slightest burnt taste, refill the cartridge.

Over time, you will learn how much and when to fill. Dang learning curves!

Also make sure your filler isn't being pushed too far down and not making contact with the birdge when its attached. If it looks too low, poke it up with a toothpick or bent paperclip; it should be level with the cart rim or jsut a hair under it. The bridge will make a little nest in the filler (will look like a dimple).

i now only drip because the cart is not for very heavy smokers, it just can't draw enough ejuice fast enough..

after 45 days all my atomizers were very burnt tasting..

my only solution was to soak them for a long time in "Crest Pro-Health" mouth wash and blast them out with a whole tank of water from my dental "Sunbeam Water Pik" then just drip..

you can save those burnt attys.take a pair of tweezers very carefully pull out the bridge then pluck out the burnt wick, wash let dry and presto good as new.
