Doc - true, but still needs sufficient inhale power to get the juice onto the coil.

If the short strong inhale does not help, try dropping a few drips into the atomizer; wait a minute and try that. If it now works ok then the problem is that the cart is not properly contacting the 'metal bridge' inside the atomizer. In this case, try pulling out the cart material a little bit.

Um... or maybe making sure the cartridge is pushed in the whole way? :oops:

The cartridges on the 901 fit tight. I noticed that there was about a 1/16" inch of the cartridge part that gets inserted that wasn't pushed in the whole way....ie: no contact between filler and atomizer, hot, burned atomizer....yuck....there IS supposed to be contact isn't there?

Apparently this WAS the issue. I've been vaping off and on since my last post. No burnt taste, haven't had to top off once and as an added bonus, I don't have a sore throat today. Maybe the burnt stuff was what was causing my sore throat.
