Business Cards

The company I ordered from in the beginning has an affliate program and My wife and I have been handing out the cards due to the interest that vaping has generated in our respective workplaces. I know Bloog doesn't have an affliate program but what would the possibility of having some business cards with the web site listed. If I hand something out, I want it to be something I am happy with because it is my reputation on the line. Please excuse any errors in this post, my cat was trying to help me type

I am an affiliate. I would like to see Bloog offer a back office app on their website. We have no way to know what is happening to the traffic we drive to Bloog like other suppliers offer. I do nearly all my marketing online through my website.

Great idea! But since we don't have a direct link associated with us as Affiliates, and only have a discount code to give out, I'd be happy with a summary page...

Agreed. Some HTML banners would be really be necessary to get the most out of it. It would be nice to get an email advising of sales in the interim. I have no idea if my efforts are successful.

I am an affiliate too but would like a personal link that I could send people to in order to earn commission. This is how most affiliate programs work. That way you don't have to give anyone a code. Just like the banner you have in your sig jayvape - you could embed a link into it where if someone clicked on it you could get commission if they purchased anything.

How did you get business cards?

hi i think you can just upload them for free on tinypic.com and get an html code and any other codes you need....thats where i host my banner....

Hmm, I'll look into that. I wish I was more savvy when it came to all this. I emailed Jason and he sent me my report and I feel much better now knowing that sales are happening. I am not a patient person so I just need to chill a bit while Bloog catches up. Here's to a very successful 2011! Cheers

Uploading to tinypic is not the issue. Bloog would need to integrate detection of tracking cookies when customers order to directly credit the Affiliate. So Bloog would need to provide a customized link to bloogplanet.com for each Affiliate. V4L does this. Another option is to have the URL itself customized for each Affiliate, like bloogplanet.com/affiliate1234. Green Smoke does it this way.

Right, I'll shoot him an e-mail. That Tinypic site is cool though thanks; I usually upload to my comcast web folder through FireFTP, the Firefox add-on, then link to that file. But tinypic is much easier! See:

Special notes:
1. The JC677TEN at the end needs to be changed to the respective code for the affiliate
2. Ensure to use bloogplanet.com and not www.bloogplanet.com or the code will not work correctly.

This should get us by until we have our newer site live.
