I was wondering if anyone in Canada has heard of anyone getting busted for using or selling nicotine juice yet. I know they will confiscate or send shipments of nic back at Canadian customs but was wondering if the authorities were actually going after people for using or selling a controlled substance yet like they do with reserve cigarettes.

As far as I know, vendors in Canada who appear on Health Canada's radar for selling nicotine juice get a nasty letter from Health Canada. And then they have to stop selling nicotine juice. Because nicotine juice isn't a tobacco product, the law is different. But, I'm not the best person to quote the law. (I tend to stick my fingers in my ear and go, "la la la la. I can't hear you."

Nicotine use by adults is legal in Canada, it is the importation and sale of nicotine that is being challenged by the govn't. The legality of the sale of Ejuice within Canada and importation of Ejuice liquid will eventually have to filter through the court system just as it did in the US.
Health Canada tends to follow the FDAs trends, so hopefully that will continue to be the case, as I recall their law talks about "per dose" and are assuming that you suck down 1ml at a time in order to claim its dangerous and a lot of other misinformation.
Yes but it takes quite a few years for that to happen. Look how long Alieve (spelling) was an over the counter drug in the US. I think it was about 10 years before it followed suit in Canada.
Considering how greedy the Canadian government is, of course they're going to try to prevent e-cigs from happening. The raped their citizens for $7.5 billion last year in tobacco taxes alone (not including sales or goods and service tax) Tax Revenues from Tobacco Sales. Why do you think they blew considerably more money on cracking down res cigs then narcotics or real health issueshttp://www.tobaccoinfo.ca/mag5/contraband.htm. If everyone quit smoking and started vaping instead (which they should), they'd have to increase the raping done by their other monopoly and extortion gigs.
