Button fell off!!

My son's Vamo fell on the floor and the button popped off. Can someone tell me if it can be reattached? Also, is this an acceptable battery for Vamo: NCR18650PD 18650 Panasonic Rechargeable Li-ion Battery Flat Top

I REALLY don't want him going back to tobacco, so help is appreciated. Since I buy his supplies, I don't want to spend needless money.

That battery is fine for the Vamo.


Here's a video on taking the Vamo apart, the buttons set in the holes in the body and contact switches on the circuit board inside the Vamo.

The NCR18650PD is 2900mah and Unprotected (Battery can be damaged if shorted)
The NCR18650B is 3400mah is Protected (Battery has internal protection against shorts)
For use in a vamo, which has internal protection, either would work well.
I have used th NCR18650B for some time in my vamo with no problem.
