I've bought both the eGo and the Riva kits. Both are good, but if I was to start over, I would go with the Riva.
- I've had one of the eGo
batteries develop the "stuck-on" problem. It was very new and Drew at Nhaler replaced it with a Riva since he was out of stock on the eGo batts. In retrospect, that was a good deal for me.
- The Riva batts are 750 mah vs. 650 for the eGo batts (I think that's right). (corrected)
- Performance is about the same, but the Riva last a bit longer for me.
- The Riva batts definitely have a better button design...less likely to go off in your kit or pocket.
- The Riva batts are generally cheaper than the eGo batts despite the fact they are more powerful.
- After 4 months of use, all four of my batts (1 eGo and 3 Rivas) are all working fine, but I would opt for Riva's in the future as replacements.
- I understand that Joye has now come out with a 1000 mah (or larger?) eGo batt, but I haven't used it. But I also understand that Riva is coming out with a larger mah battery soon, so would wait for that.
BOTH ARE AWESOME SET-UPS FOR A 3.7 DEVICE.
I recently moved to using "Low Res Cartomizers" (both 1.7 ohm and 2.5 ohm) instead of cartridges and atomizers and love the performance.
Slightly less battery life with the eGo batt, but nothing noticeable.
Hope this helps.

PS: If you get either the eGo or the Riva, I recommend upgrading your "USB to A/C" adapter from the stock .5 amp adapter that comes with the kits to a 2 amp adapter (I got mine from MadVapes). It really shortens the time it takes to recharge both the eGo and Riva batts.
