eGo manual button complaints?

Hey folks,

The two eGos I just ordered from Liberty Flights both have sort of jiggly buttons. Does anyone else have this as well? I hate it. To be sure, it does not compromise the functionality of the battery, but it bothers me a lot. I'm used to the 510 buttons which were always firm and superb.

Not sure what you mean by jiggly buttons, if I rub my finger across mine they have a little bit of play side to side but if I shake them they dont make any noise? Maybe a Riva or VGO with the rubbery buttons would be more to your liking. My personal preference is for the hard plastic buttons over the rubber riva ones.

They should not be floppy, but wiggly is ok.

Wiggly seems ok.. sticking ON is more common. or at least with the ones i have had..

The have overheated (and burned out) is in my pocket and once I had some other things in my hand and the button got held down till I smelled smoke.

The button protectors from heath cabin are too thick and don't stay in place, waste of 50c.

It may take a lawsuit over a pants fire to do it, but current methods are sure to improve.

I only carry them in my shirt pocket now.

If yours is getting stuck when you are using it, return it. Mine never have one that, I've got Batts from Cignot, Totally Wicked, and Health Cabin.

mine is a Little jiggly too. but it seams to be working fine

My eGo button has 'slight play' to it...but, no problems with usage.

Mine are slightly wiggly-jiggly. Just a small amount of lateral movement. I prefer the ego button over the riva button tho. Because they are larger, contoured, and more recessed.

I believe all Ego batts have a small amount of play, not just the ones from LF. I also have a couple of 1000mah from Cignot. The button is the same as the 650s.
