Button options?

Please forgive a newb for asking questions that may have already been answered numerous times... but I was wondering if there was an option to get a different button style? I was thinking something girly and sparkly. And not black. Or maybe artsy.

You could always get a Delrin button cover and glue some glitter to it, Bedazzle maybe?

LOLz. I was thinking maybe a piece of crystal... or a silver button with a small jewel on top...

You will just need to get creative......then show us all what you've done! LOL There aren't any options other than either having one (of the little delrin ones Rob makes) or not having one.....or being creative. Before Rob started making them, some of us "rigged" some up by using the little black rubber insert in a 3ml syringe. (You'll just need to get one and it'll be obvious that it's perfect.) Anyway, I still use them on a couple of my REOs. If you don't have any 3ml syringes around, PM me and I'll send you one, if you want. BUT....they're not really decorative....just very comfortable. I look forward to seeing how you bling out your new little purple baby.....

I am already brainstorming need to get a better look at it, but I'm thinking it could also be painted maybe?

So they don't come in chrome then? Just black?

Yes, just black.

Robert made them for us that wanted something more comfortable. He is just so busy getting REO's out that his time to do everything he would like is short.

Lots of people have made their own. With a little creativity you can come up with something pretty, I am sure.

I am so dumb. I was reading this and thought wow it wouldn't be too hard to make a nice wooden button for my Woodvil. Then I looked at it...duhhhh.

Here's an aluminum button that I polished up. I used one of the Delrin buttons as a base and just sanded it down 'till it looked right.



And a steampunkish button...same method.



Lotsa buttons out there.

The black button is all I have at this time . I will be offering brass buttons shortly . As you can see people have come up with some very creative buttons
