Button problem

The button of my provari get stuck sometimes , specially when i push it in angle and i have to knock it couple of times to make it bounce back , i took the battery out and i cant see anything wrong but maybe others had these happend and solve it ? Send it to the states its really not a option because shipping is a killing lol i can live with it but was wondering if i can solve these ! Thanks

I purchased a couple of the minis when they first came out.
One had a button that would stick in the fire mode about every third
push.
After a couple of days and still no break in, I applied a very small amount of dielectric grease
to the outside of the button and worked it in by depressing the fire button several
times.
This took care of the sticking button and I have not had to apply any more grease.

My best guess is that the circuit board inside move a hair towards the top . The button and display are all part of one main circuit board so if it moves the button will stick. Check to see if your display looks off center(more foward) from the window.

The board dont appers to be moved , screen looks good and i was looking how the button press without the battery and it seems to fit nice just for some reason it stick after a period hmm i will the grease stuff maybe that will solve the problem.

Btw is WD-40 good ? Or is it a no no ?

I wouldn't use WD-40. Dielectric grease is sillicone based and is used for electronic equipment
to prevent corrosion, lubricate moving parts and is good for keeping out contaminants.....etc.

The clear button you press isnt actually the switch its just the switch cover. If its the actual switch thats sticking doing a alcohol rinse would work better then grease. The grease could act as more of a bandaid then fixing the problem . Over time it may lead to a bigger problem.

Yesi know is the cover , when i looked inside it didnt seem to be damage etc just sticking for the heck of it lol so alcohol can do the trick ? How will you suggest i apply ? In the button and push it several times until it gets there or ?

If you look at the provari maintenance it tells you how to do a alcohol flush. The alcohol will clean it and evaporate. You can try it just in the button first and see if that takes care of the problem . Make sure to let it evaporate before using it.

Alcohol did something , now it only stick after long period and if i dont press in center but is cool.

Hey just wanted to say that i dont know if the alcohol did the job or if there was any kind of break in regarding the button but today noprobably with it and it feel good theres no hint of it to get stuck !
