I hate buying a bottle of liquid only to discover I don't like it, most of us know the problem of trying it in the store and liking it, buying it, then bringing it home to discover it taste much different and we've just bought another bottle we hate. A store near me has just started to sell small sample tanks of liquids for a few dollars so you can take if home for a try. I think its a great idea. I'd much rather spend a few dollars on a small sample tank then buy a 15ml or even a 30ml bottle just to try the liquid and even if you don't like the liquid at the very least you have a spare tank. Now I understand some sellers have a small sample bottles but they are still overpriced for just a sample, so I think this small 1.5ml sample tank is a great inexpensive way to try some liquids.

I think thats a great idea! Even if its not a first rank tank, it might be something you can clean and PIFF to someone starting. It would be even better if they had 2 or 3 different tanks(maybe alittle more money) to choose from and then fill them when you buy them. I'd pay 4.00 for my choice of tank and a sample of my choice. :thumb:

I agree with you sub4me, 1.5ml for a couple of dollars would be a better alternative to 15ml or 30ml. Its funny how you try something in the store and like it but when you buy it and take it home after vaping it awhile it starts to taste nasty. I wonder why that happens? but also buying it in a cheap tank wont give you the best taste or vapor production.

I have no idea why that happens but it does lol, some say it's because most samplers in the store have no nicotine in them. I'm not sure about that but I do know I've dumped out a lot of liquid.

Buying the cheap tank like the C4 may not give you the best taste but it will give you a few hours or days maybe of vaping the liquid to see if it's something you really want to buy, also you can easily put it into your own tank to see how it tastes on your set up.

perhaps this will catch on and juice companies will start to offer 1 or 2 ml sample bottles. I know some already do like Five Pawns has a sample pack of very tiny bottles.

I didn't know that, it's about time we start to see that happen because even buying a 5ml bottle from some of these sellers is just a waste if you don't like it cause your paying for the liquid and shipping.

I like the DIY solution.

I can make ten mils for about 50 cents and adjust the taste for pennies.

As a side benefit, I know exacty what is in the bottle and how it got there.

I know a lot of guys do that but knowing who you bought it from and what's inside isn't the same thing. I understand your point but your still depending and relying on what the maker of your ingredients say is in the product. Just like we all are when we buy from a juice maker.

I see your point OP & I suppose that for some this would be acceptable. For me personally, I have only sampled eliquids from 2 vendors & they both used protanks for their samples. In both cases those freakin tanks absolutely ruined the experience for me. They both gave terrible dry hits & I really couldn't get a good idea of the flavor either time (it must be my draw that's the problem as I've never had a problem with Evods). I took a chance the first time & was pleasantly surprised to get home & find I loved the eliquids. The second time, I gave up trying to use their tanks & I asked if they'd be willing to drip the eliquids into my RM2 so I could try them. That worked out better. In the future I think I will always, at least, bring a small dripper/mech or something with me to try eliquids.

bottom line, I'd definitely buy a sample bottle over a tank.

Yes buts its only a deal if your truly interested in trying those liquids they offer. I have never heard of that company before but if your happy that's all that matters.

I would prefer to try liquids I'm actually interested in buying and only those. Some of these sellers want you to buy their sample pack but guess what seller I don't want to try those, I want to sample what I pick out not what you pick out, lol.

I understand what you mean. But the point here is your taking home a small sample cheap instead of committing to a full bottle of something you may hate. I know some places have the 5ml and 10ml bottles but your still throwing away your funds if you don't use it all. But with a small tank of 1ml or 1.5ml you can buy a bunch of them for a few bucks or so, take then home to pour into your device or just use the cheap tank supplied, and you get some time to decided if it's something you really like as opposed to the vape shop clerk letting you sample it there and keep asking if you want to buy this or that.

I understood your point. I was just saying that if it were me I would prefer to buy one of the small bottles (those little sample bottles that you sometimes get for free from online vendors) over a small tank. I understand you could always put the eliquid from the sample tank into something else if you prefer. But for me personally, if I were going to buy samples to try out I would maybe not buy them if they only came in little tanks. I would, however, buy then if they came in the little bottles (I think they're 3ml but they might have smaller).

I wasn't trying to discourage your idea.

I've never gotten a sample pack from a vendor who picked the flavors. The ones' I've tried were ones where I picked the flavors.

Lol, I didnt't take it in a bad way, I figured you knew what I meant. Oh and its not my idea it the way a local shop is doing it because most of the liquid they sell doesn't come in a smaller then 10ml bottle and they figured people will buy more larger bottles once they get a chance to sample a small amount at home instead of just a few puffs at the store.
