Buy Mini kit or piece my own kit?

So I can get the mini kit for $210. Ok, that's a good price. But if I buy things separate I can save $10 and that's with a Nitecore i2 charger.

What is everyone buying who doesn't have batteries or a charger? Kit or buying separate?

Should I worry about the i2 vs. the Pila? The Pila is $47 and I can get the i2 for $12.50 from Amazon.

I don't think they have always had the starter kit. Both mine I bought separately.

My friend bought a Nitecore i2 charger, problems right from the start.. .
Provari starter kit comes with a cheap Tenergy charger....
PILA is the best with a long term proven track record....... It's smart charging system always charges to 4.2 volts-Once 4.2 volts is reached it stops charging the batteries... Mine is 3 1/2 years old and still works perfect
