Hey folks!

I am new to vaping, but I am confident that analog cigarettes are a thing of the past for me.

I am currently using a eLeaf iStick 40W with 2 Aspire Nautilis tanks and want to buy another box mod as a backup or relegate the iStick to a backup.

I am hoping to be able to reuse the Aspire tanks, but that isn't a dealbreaker as I like having a few different flavours of juice available.

I am looking at the Kanger Subox Mini (is there another Subox?) and the Aspire Pegasus (quality issues?) but open to suggestions. Removeable batteries are definately of interest.

I have no interest in blowing huge plumes of smoke or the whole drip thing. Just a basic user using vaping to avoid smoking analogs.

Thanks!

I bought one Subox kit and liked it well enough to get another. I've been around for a couple of years and make coils and wicks for some of my setups. You will get a good vape from the 1.5 ohm coils and will have the rba if you ever decide to get into doing your own. You don't have to do the .5 ohm coils with big clouds if you don't want to. The Subox has been out for a while and has a good rep.

I highly recommend the Subox mini kit. I have 3 of them and a few extra tanks in my arsenal of vape gear. I have dozens and dozens of mods and tanks but ever since I picked up the Subox kit I've been using them almost exclusively. The produce great flavor and I've had no leaking problems. I suggest you watch a few youtube videos on wicking these if you decide to use the RBA section.

You can't go wrong with that kit.

Thanks. I am buying one of these today. I may add the Joyetech or iStick 100w if I can find either for super cheap over the holidays. I live in Canada but will be in the U.S. and will hit a B&M or two on my travels this weekend.

The VTC Mini offers the most features and have the best price per dollar.
Single replaceable 18650, Firmware up-gradable, 75w power, regulated, unregulated (bypass), TC Ni, TC Ti, TC SS, and it's 35 dollars if you buy only the mod or about 45 or so for the full kit (newer kits come ith their new "Tron tanks"). The newer kits might be slightly more money but for everything you get they really have no competition.

My b&m has the kit for $120 but I bought mine online for under 60. Maybe black Friday deal will help you.
I ended up buying the Subox Mini Kit, a battery charger, 4 Samsung batteries and 5 coils for about $115USD out the door in Canada with a warranty. Should be here in a few days. Pretty excited!:)

I have the subox mini. I really love it. I got a nice silcone sleeve for it. I've read the finish doesn't hold up well. But the sleeve I got is extremely easy to slide up for changing the battery.
I have a black Subox and have used it constantly for 6-7 weeks. It has a few scratches on the bottom from tabletops, coins in my car cup holders, etc. but it is still in pretty good shape considering I have used it a ton and dropped it at least a few times.

I recently bought a Reuleaux RX200 which is fantastic for around $40. Big and heavy though. I still prefer smaller box mods like the Subox for daily use. Decent enough battery life, fairly inexpensive and reliable.

I've had mine since November. It seems a lot better than the eleafs I've had. Those are so unreliable. I just can't buy from that company anymore. I'm hoping those hold up for a long time. I plan on getting more since I stumbled onto this from another thread.
