Good advice. I will continue to look around.
Go here and type in whatever you want.
Vapecrawler
If you want to buy from US only shops, un-highlight China Netherlands and Canada.

Imo, you could do a lot better than a single battery Kangerbox at $40-$50.

Thank you! I actually am looking for a single battery mod. I don't need that much power. I usually vape between 15 watts to max 22ish watts. So a single battery mod is fine for me IMO. But I will definitely look at this website.

Why not look into an istick Pico or a Smok AL85?

Hey guys. Recently my mod gave out on me and I've been looking for a new one. I found a guy on craigslist that is selling a Kangerteck Kbox nano for 40$. Do you guys think this is a good deal?? Or should I keep looking?? Will my Smok TFV4 fit on this mod?? Thanks!!

You have to think...

1) why is he getting rid of it.
2) can you talk him down to a price that is worth the trouble if something is wrong with it.
3) how much more is a new one
and 4) don't buy someone else's problems unless your ready to put money into it to fix it.

I would look elsewhere my friend.

Interesting... Under "Parameters" in the listing for that kbox, "TC Support Coil Type: Ni/Ti/ SS/NiCr (Kanthal)"

I hadn't known there is a device that uses Kanthal in TC mode. Perhaps I'm misunderstanding.

The $15 deal on Eight Vape? Yeah, that sounds bogus. I think the price is bogus too.

Just checked my kBox mini and it does have 4 TC modes one of which is NiCr. The instruction manual says "Kanthal wire should read as NiCr in this device"

Honestly, I only tried TC a couple of times when I sampled the coils that came with the kit, but failed to see the value. I didn't like that you couldn't set the max wattage in TC.

Personally I wouldn't consider using my TFV4 on a single 18650 mod - at low ohms, worst case, it's dangerous and at an acceptable ohms your batteries will need changing constantly.

The supplied coils with mine were rated:
.2 ohms 40 - 130 watts
.15 Ohms 40 - 140 watts

Single RBA came in at .7 ohms with supplied coil - (this is the only realistic option for single 18650 in my opinion)

My triple RBA comes out at about .2 ohms

I accept that a good quality regulated mod "might" protect you from pulling too many amps but battery life would suffer for sure.

I don't have this tank, but that seems low for a "cloud" type coil...

I'm just surprised..

But for your question, nope, I wouldn't touch that... I'm no fan of Kanger mods (heck, I wouldn't take a free one), but regardless, with new mods like the Predator and other similar ones around for the 50$ (or less) range, I'd get something worth while.

And dual battery doesn't have to be about power, heck, at that wattage range, it would probably last you a few days between charges, and some of these dual mods are barely larger or even about the same as some single mods I've seen.

Before my mod went out it was set to 1.10 ohms 20 watts and it worked fine. I got good big clouds and good flavor. Battery lasts me like two days.

If it worked for you, it would work on the kbox.

I would think that you could get it cheaper but $40 is not completely out of line. There are better devices for around that price.

Out of curiosity, what did you have before?

That came on a little too strong at the end of your post and kinda unnecessary. I still accept and agree with the point you made and how I my answer was completely off base.

What do you mean I came on a little too strong and my post was unnecessary? I don't think any of it was "too strong" or "unnecessary".
