Okay so, I've been using a Prodigy for a few years now - full time, at first, then off again/on again as I was too busy to do all the dang FIDDLING the Prodigy requires just to stay up and running...like a temperamental race horse, rather than a sure and steady plow horse :p So a few weeks ago, I again began to be a full-time vaper, because of health issues. I'd just have to deal with the issues my mod has... At any rate, I was about out of atomizers for it, and starting to price new ones again when I picked up a disposable EZ cig because the paper wrapping on it was pretty... :p Lo and behold, I find it has FLAVOR!!! You see, although I'd tried many different flavors, I never really TASTED any flavor except menthol before - this includes both 'storebought' and homemade juices. I assumed it was due to me having been a VERY heavy smoker for 25 years - probably just permanently killed my taste buds. I find that's NOT true. So I decided it was probably because of the atomizer I use - perhaps the 901 burns it too hot therefore burns out flavor. Bad luck to me -- no adapters for my older (V2) Prodigy. (this is why I'm not even considering buying a mod from Puresmoker. Their mods outdate entirely too fast for me. While I have hated my V2 from the get-go, my V1 was my bit of heaven -- til I spilled a soda on it, killed the switch, and there were no parts for it....)

So I started hunting around for a different mod, and the words "tired of fiddling" "no fiddling like other mods" etc caught my eye. I decided to buy a Reo -- after I move.(I'm currently in the process of moving house, 10 days left in THIS house.)

Except I just took a break from packing...and sat down and grabbed my V2...and....popped my last atomizer. *panic attack begins* So, I need one *NOW*!! :D And...I have questions.

1. Can I pay extra for extra-fast shipping? IE, can I have it here in less than 10 days if I order tomorrow after work? (I need to hit the bank. Unless Paypal works.)

2. I wanted a rebuildable atomizer. (Tired of regular ones dying at inopportune moments) Will the rebuildable one already be ready for use, or will I have to start by building one? IE, should I buy a regular one to put on just to get me going while I figure out how to build one?(I've seen the video, it doesn't look terribly difficult...but still.)

3. What do I need to order to be up and running -- drip tip?? Whassat?? :D I've only ever had a 901 atomizer, a tip, and juice that I drip onto the filler in the tip. So I need to know what I need to know...LOL

4. Umm...I think there's questions I can't remember in my angst over my dead e-cig :( So I may ask questions as we go LOL

Thanks in advance!

Rob ships super fast, although I believe he is only shipping on certain days of the week now. I'm sure somebody will tell us the days here shortly. Ten days seems like more than enough time for shipping.

I'm not sure if the RM2 comes coiled or not. An extra atty or a few super shorty cartos are always good for emergencies. (both are also sold on the REOSmods site)

Batteries, driptip, atty/carto/RBA and juice

Welcome to REOvil, the land of no fiddling! No leaking! Just pure vaping! :)
Here is a GREAT thread for questions you might not even know you have http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/reos-mods/434262-reo-frequently-asked-questions.html

1) Payment is through Paypal, so you're good there

2) Get the Rebuildable from Reos Mods (called an RM2 by most around here) It will not come pre-coiled, so you will need some resistance wire and wick. If you are concerned about building a coil you can certainly throw an atty in your cart.

3) Pick up an extra spring and button cover from Reos Mods and find a few drip tips if you don't have them already.

4) Don't be anxious. That makes everything worse!

Priority mail goes in 2 (or is it 3...) days so if he ships Monday I'd definitely be okay on time. And, there's money in the Paypal acct...LOL Now - if I leave a note can my kid sign for me? He's adult'ish...LOL (I work 2 jobs. The time I *am* home is a lot less than the times I'm gone..and I'm usually asleep. LOL)

Which drip tip works for both the rebuildable AND standard atomizer? There's 510 and 306? (*here's hoping it's the 510 since that's the only one he has on hand lol)

Oh - I believe I read in one of the many threads over the past couple weeks, that one of the Reos can take two smaller batteries instead of one larger for higher voltage vaping? Is this correct and if so, which/what batteries? I can't find the thread any more LOL Much as I DO NOT want another Prodigy (or whatever they're called now) I do wonder if I'm gonna miss the higher voltage vaping. (Although I did like the EZ cig I bought - I'll be using these til my Reo comes in)

And another! What's the different in the mAh on different batteries?? Color me confused...hehe

Check this thread for answers too! http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/reos-mods/434262-reo-frequently-asked-questions.html

The RM2 uses a 510 drip tip.

The VV Grand takes two batteries. If you want VV it is great!

You can stack batts...here are the threads.
http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/reos-mods/198476-reo-5v.html
http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/reos-mods/196139-6volt-reo-mini.html

I haven't in a very long time...since VV came out. If you plan on stacking, please do some research and use protection! There is a short stop chip out there, I can't seem to find a link.

(above threads were found here http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/reos-mods/270331-free-reo-forum-thread-index.html There are also several threads in there about battery safety)

I prefer to use the recommended battery and using low ohm atties/cartos/RBA

Thanks for the link to that thread. Not sure about which I'm getting...I like the smaller size of the mini but thinking it would be a tradeoff for something I can change the battery at night and be good all the next day. (I don't DO mornings...I'm lucky to get to work, and for me that's good enough lol) So I'll probably go eenie-meenie-minie-mo at the very moment of purchase...LOL And save up for the other one later! (Or maybe get the small one, and save up for the VV for later...or...something.)

Do ALL the mods have the shutoff on the switch so I can drop it in my work bag and be safe? (a definite bonus over my current Prodigy...)

Has anyone else had the issue of lack of flavor from a 901 but having flavor with other models of atomizer?

mAh: Milliamp hours. The higher the number the longer the battery will last. A battery with higher mAh will be longer than one with lower.

The REO's do have specified mAh ratings listed for the recommended battery.

It is important to use a battery the right size so the spring can have room to collapse in case of a short.

If you get the Mini you want the IMR AW 18490 batteries and if you get the Grand you want the IMR AW 18650 batts. I'm not familiar with the prodigy so you will need a charger if for the batts if you don't have one. The RM2 with wick and wire will get you to vaping heaven but there is a slight learning curve. The shorty cartos will keep you going while you learn to build the coils. I have the mini and the battery would probably last me all day at work but I swap at lunch time anyway. I plan on getting a Grand so though, but will probably leave it at home.

The Grand would be perfect for all day use. The body is the size of a business card. Not really too big at all. Most people love the length of time they can get with the Grand.

Your flavor will vary with the ohm's you are vaping. Most people are amazed with the power of the REO's. With an RM2 you will be able to build a coil that gives you the flavor and vapor you want.

Thanks for the info on the mAh bit. I'll look closer to see what mAh is recommended for the one I pick. I'm leaning towards the Grand right now...

Not sure what you mean by the ohms. Where can I find that info? How can I build the RM2 to have better flavor? (the video I saw -- at Reosmods maybe? -- didn't specify special ways to build it, just what's probably 'standard')
