Hi,

I've been using an ego twist for the past two months ( amongst others) and it performs good with a boge 2 ohm carto and pretty good coupled with an vision stardust ( short wicks version). You might also want to try an Vivi Nova tank on the twist. All in all the twist will give you a ton of possibilities ( 510 connection cartos, clearos, ego tanks, etc.). Furthermore the price is very reasonable.

I myself preffer the Vmax better (version 2) from smoktech coupled with smoktech dual coil tanks. You can really push those 1,5 ohm dual coils and get tons of TH and flavor or use a 3 ohm versions ( depending on how you prefer to vape).
If you really want top of the line you might want to check out a Provari ( not cheap but quality comes at a price).
If you want something cheaper than the vmax or provari you might wish to take a look at the Lavatube.

Check out youtube for reviews, Pbusardo, VaporChase, Fieldofvapor, GrimmGreen, etc. are excellent reviewers
I personally learned some valuable things watching those reviews

hey man, im only a week into vaping, but i had a nightmare getting help.
one min someone recommended ego visions, then no faster than i could put it in shopping cart a new post saying no visions are poor get the vivi nova, again 2 posts later, someone said they are not good they are too big, im not going to lie i had a tough first week getting my first kit together, with all the different opinions. Even when i completed everything and was happy someone else turned round said you shouldve got this battery blah blah.

So im guessing at 2 years away things are going to be alot more complicated, but if it any help ill show you my shopping list for my first kit and why i got each component.

Joyetech eGo-C Twist VV 650mah Black - Got this because its user friendly with voltage control so if something too weak we can turn it up and vice versa, people were even saying to me get the bigger battery it will last longer, id be wrong to get the small one they were saying. But wait they dont know me, im a taxi driver so im constantly next to a charger, and because im with the public and on the streets all the time, i didnt want something the size of a drainpipe so 2x650mah ego twists was perfect for me

Ego/Riva/Echo USB Charger With Cord - obvious reasons

510 Low Resistance Atomiser Black - this is purely only to try flavours with dripping

Mini Nova Mini Nova Kit VE404 Mini Nova Kit - same as first reason, its smaller than the vivi nova, and the novas seem to get raving reviews

4 x 5ml sample juices various flavours, tobacco and sweet

Vision Ego Rainbow V3 Rebuildable Black 2.4ohm VE388 Black 2.4ohm - i added this on at the end simply because its what i wanted originally because it "looked" good on a ego twist and seemed to get decent reviews, but some thread users saying its good they love it, others saying no they love thier nova etc.

That was probably about 30 hours of research i dont mean spread over a couple of days, i mean a good solid 8-10 hours forum hunting, youtube watching a day non stop.

Hope this helps in some way
Dean

Yes the ego Twist is a fine choice and as deankenny said above you may want the smaller 650mah size or you may want the longer 1000 mah size. It just depends on your comfort level on how long a device you want.

What to stick on top can be a long discussion as deankenny also said. You can go with a simple cartomizer or a variety of tanks and tank like devices. They all have their good and bad points and some people love them and some hate them. There is not a universal "best" way to go for all people and situations.

Ask youself what the maximum size you'd be comfortable with, how much you can spend, how much fiddling you can put up with.

Thanks guys, yea i think im gonna go with the ego twist....i dont think the length will bother me if i get more life out of the battery....im prob gonna be vaping pretty heavy so i guess i got find out how long the 10000mah will last...as for cartomizers i think im gonna stick with the old school atomizer and i guess i can use a tank with that? i take it the cartomizer is a disposable cart with a atty built in... will any of my 510 parts work with the ego twist? thanks again any good web sites would help out too for buying the ego twist and some juice...thanks alot guys

You may want to try out a Vivi Nova mini tank and a CE4 clearomizer just to see which you like. Both of them are rebuildable, which save money in the long run. I'm using the Vivi Nova full size and love it. I haven't used the mini, but it is more appropriately sized for the Twist.

I think a couple of Twists and the carto/clearo/tank of your choice, along with a few bottles of juice, and you should be on your way again.

If you like the old school atomizers you may want to check into a bottom feeder device, all the wonderful pluses of direct dripping without the hassel, you just squeeze the bottle of juice let it feed a little into the atty press the power button and vape away. My favorite atty is the HH.357, mine is still going strong and it is a little over a month old. Some have said that with proper maintanence and cleaning theirs have lasted 6 months or so, I am hoping I can get that much life out of them as well LOL
