Hey guys,

First post... Just lookin to buy a ecig this later this week. I've been looking around this forum for info and its helped a lot.

I'm thinking about getting a ego 510t mainly because I'm not a heavy smoker and want something very cigarette like... Plus cheap for my first kit.

I plan on going to vancity vapor ... Spoke to owner, he should be able to get me everything .

Any suggestions or anything ?

As I haven't gotten an ego 510t kit for a while, I can't say who has the best prices. But an ego 510T does fit the bill in being cigarette-like. That said, my experience is that while I started with a cigarette-like kit (almost a year ago now, wow), I quickly moved on to the. Ego-T, and from there to a larger Lavatube-clone unit with a tank setup. I still use the tanks a year later, and am incredibly happy with the Lavatube-type devices, both pricewise and function-wise. I ended up converting my old Joyetech 510 bodies into a "pipe" by adding a handmade polymer clay pipe bowl (which glows blue from the battery light), but other than with my pipe-addon, I almost never use the cigarette-types anymore. You may have a different experience entirely, but were I to do it all over again, I would opt for Ego batteries with a tank and punched carto setup. :)

I'm worried that if it doesn't look and feel like a smoke I won't like it... And I would draw attention with a larger vape...

Thanks for the ideas... I'm going to look into them.

A regular ego/ego-t doesn't look and feel and like a cig and a twist is only like an inch longer... If you;re gonna get an ego might as well get a twist and save yourself the hassle is what I'm saying. Otherwise if you only want a cig-a-like you need to go with something like a volt which is regular 510 size - an ego is fatter.

I'm totally open to suggestions and ideas...

I'm purchasing from this website in store
http://www.vancityvapor.com/default.asp

I'm down to mix and match parts and build my own kit I just have no idea what everything really is and means between the ego line...

Main goal is too have very cig like feel

Low entry level price as I'm not %100 set on using it all the time... Maybe just when needed

Thanks again...

Ok, an ego does not have a cig like feel - it's fatter and a full ego-t setup is more like a cigar or sharpie than a regular cigarette. If you want something exactly like a cigarette you need something like this - Smokeless Image | The Best Electronic Cigarette (which I wouldn't recommend as you'll eventually move away from cig-a-likes but that's up to you).

I'm in the same boat... just started vaping and got snagged into the blu. It really isn't that bad, but switching batteries every couple of sessions was a huge pain. I fell for marketing and got a V2, which is tons better, but still don't have enough experience in vaping to make an informed decision. I wish I found this site before I made my purchases, however the next one will definitely be an eGo! The cig-alikes are definitely awesome for the familiarities of smoking analogs though. Vaping got me down from smoking a pack a day to less than a pack a week... with a better device I'm positive I can switch exclusively to vaping. Good luck switching man!

eCig Starter Kit - 650mah

I reccommended this to a bud of mine the other day. I dont work for DV but their prices are awesome. Some online sites charge an arm and a leg for starter kits that aren't worth tbe crazy prices they charge. i started a year ago on a blu kit and hted the battery life. Ego batteries are amazing if you can get over it being slightly larger than an analog. But trust me when i say that ego batteries are a staple. Probably every long term vaper or advanced user has a few ego batteries laying around. the 650mah bats arent to huge. I prefer them for an easy shirt pocket vape at work.

Anything that is 510-threaded can be used on other 510-threaded devices. This basically means that the majority of tanks, etc can be adapted to other devices. However, I tend to advise punched cartomizers and a large, refillable tank. Other people prefer what's called clearomizers, which are essentially a larger version of the 510-T setup which is wide enough to compare to an ego-style battery. There are an abundance of options out there right now... but if you're looking for a now-fix, I still advise something like an Ego-styled battery just so you don't have to recharge every 2 hours. :)

I can't find a kit for it.... I'm not sure if this site has it.

I'm needing the vape for a trip with family and was making a stop thru the city on my way... It's the only brick and mortar store in vancouver BC I can find

http://www.vancityvapor.com/default.asp

I'm down to try out the twist of its what u guys suggest... As long as I can build a kit without going over $75
