I have a phidias feedimus mod and love the simplicity of it all. It holds a 3ml bottle of juice and uses an 18650 battery. The life of the battery can go for 2 days before I need to charge it up and the juice lasts me a day easily. The way you would use this is by a gravity feed method. Turn the mod upside down and press the feed button for about 5 or so seconds then turn it right side up and vape away. I had no problems catching on to this feed system.

I also have a reo mini coming in the mail soon. This holds a 3ml bottle as well but uses a 14500 battery so I will be needing to change my battery 1 or 2 times a day depending on how much I vape, but the size of the reo mini can fit into a pocket alot easier than a phidias. I also don't want to worry about breaking my mod if I drop it and the reo's are tough aluminum metal. Because I have yet to use it I can't say how easy it is, but from what the reviews say, plus the reo forum peeps say - its one of the best user friendly mods out there. I highly recommend checking out the reo subforum on ECF for anything reo related.

I am totally on the bottom feeding mod train because I find it so convenient. Before I got my phidias I would take my ego T for work or driving but drip when I'm at home. I prefer dripping over any other method because the flavor really comes out. My ego T was convenient, but took the flavor out of any juice I had and it all tasted the same - bland.
If you like to drip your juice, then I'd say look around for a bottom feeder if the 510 isn't satisfying. But if you're happy with the 510, then for now keep using it because it is a fine pv for some. Its just the battery life that causes people to look into other pv's.
I guess to answer your question - sorry my ADD got the better of me :), there would probably be a small learning curve for anyone, but it isn't hard to pick up and there's nothing like grabbing 1 mod with a full juice bottle and 1 spare battery and you're set for the day.
