Buying my first mech, suggestions?

In that price range you are going to have to go to flebay or through china and side buttons are even harder to find (quality). Stay away from hybrids like the 4nine or smpl. Look into the Kylin (pisces T mod), Nemesis, Anatolian - clones of course. There is a top side fire mod called the bolt, never had one so not sure about it. I think the real Anatolians are like 50, if you can spend about 90, then look into the infected mod. The Infected maybe bigger than you want but it's USA made and built like a tank.

I figured I'll wait until next year. Picked up a four-set of spare batteries for my other mods instead and 2 airflow bases for subtank mini (this was refund money). Thank you all for the help, and next year I'll get one or three

My first two mechs were a m16 sentinal by H-Cigar and a Panzer by Ehpro. Both have proven to be very stout and extremely reliable. As has been said, side and top buttons add issues a new user does`nt really need as they work through figuring out how and why they work.
