I would use an adapter vs. changing top caps all the time ! they are not really designed to be changed all the time FYI !

Mike, is it bad if you do change it now again? I have an 801 top cap coming tomorrow to try the fusions, if I like them more then the boges I will keep the 801 on there and leave it like that (and order the infinity with an 801) if I don't like the fusions as much, I will switch back to the 510 and leave it like that! Who knows maybe some time down the road they will come out with the next latest and greatest cartomizers/tank whatever and I will switch again down the road... But is it bad for the Buzz if it is changed back and forth every now and again?

Also are the directions in the sticky thread "Replacing the top cap on the Buzz" still the same for the Buzz Pro... If it is OK to change the top cap rarely, I am going to have the hubby read that thread tomorrow and change the top cap, don't want to fustrate him by sending him to the wrong directions (expecially after he is nice enough to slot my fusions for me!)

Moo...the Pro is the same as the original Buzz when changing caps. The "real" issue in changing them often is that red wire can eventually break loose with caps changing often.

I would say it is very important that the wire not get "twirled" around cuz that's what breaks it. When it is tightly screwed to the underside of the cap, that is a guarantee that installing or removing will break that wire.

I like the option of using adapters cuz it allows me to play with air flow, which I can't do with just the 801 top cap.

Plus it gives you added protection against getting juice in your PV.

Everyone needs a purple buzz!! The original I've got coming is purple 808 connection. I just got my hands on a 510 adapter for it tonight. Then of course I had to pick up the gold aluminum drip tip for the black buzz pro i've got coming.

At first I hated adapters..........because they stick out of the top & I thought they looked stupid. Now I guess I like them....since i've gotta use them because most connections are so recessed a tank won't make the connection.

I forgot to mention........I agree with 5CS, using an adapter definitely protects your pv from getting juice down into it. It also protects the original threading.

lol might as well get both salemgold.

Jen what do you think, should I do the purple in a buzz? ;)

I know that juice in the PV is an issue when dripping, but since I started using the liquinator I have had no juice leak down into the buzz at all! Whenever I change the batteries I use a wad of paper towels to clean out the battery end of the PV. I got into this habbit because other attys and tanks tended to leak a bit into my battery or my borrowed buzz (sorry wharf, but I did clean it every night) I am new to cartomizers, liquinators and Buzz's, but since I have had this combination, not a drop. Have I just been lucky or is this a problem I can expect eventually!
