Hello everyone, so I decided to give Backwoods Brew a shot and ordered 6 of their tobacco juices. I have been stuck on a few of my favorite flavors from v4l for some time now and figured that it was time to switch it up and try something new. The reviews had me intrigued so I ordered 6 10ml bottles to give BWB a fair shot at calling some of my cartomizers home. On to my findings.

Honey Flue Nut - I was pleasantly surprised with this juice. It is a touch sweet, a touch nutty, and very clean tasting all around. The throat hit isn't much but it is just enough to make this a nice calm vape. The honey is definitely in there, the nut is that of a sweeter nut but I can't pinpoint exactly which nut flavor it is. If I had to guess I would say it is a few different nut flavors mixed together, but then again I am just guessing.

Menthol Medium - I must say, I am not a fan of this juice. When ordering the menthol juice you will notice that you can select the strength of the menthol flavoring itself. I figured that "medium" would be a decent amount of menthol and not overpowering as I have found with some menthol juices. I was completely wrong, in my opinion "medium" should be called "extra low" if we are scaling it in any way. Also, the sweetener used seems to leave a milky/chalky film in my mouth which I personally do not like. This isn't a horrible juice by any means, it just isn't a true menthol juice in my book.

Virginia - Wow, this stuff is nice. I really enjoy this Virginia and I have had Virginia juices from several other vendors. This one if you ask me is the best, by far. It is sweet, but not overly sweet, it is spicy, and it has a great moist tobacco flavor. I love this stuff and can't stop puffing it.

Casablanca - This juice is not for the weak. Be aware that this is a VERY unique flavor. I personally cannot vape this all of the time and have found it best when having a few drinks and looking for a nice heavy and complex vape. The taste is that of a very rich tobacco with a strong undertone of cocoa. NOT chocolate, I get cocoa. Stick your finger in a tin of unsweetened cocoa and that is exactly what I am talking about. It is a dry flavor, it is a very rich flavor, and I would certainly recommend this to anyone who like a very strong and complex vapor.

Maple Tobacco - I gave this a shot, I am not a fan of many juices that contain maple flavoring for the reason that they all taste basically the same and they all gum up any atomizer/cartomizer very quickly. This juice isn't bad, it has a good tobacco/maple mixture, but it was exactly what I expected and it has killed 1 cartomizer already.

Cherry Tobacco - 1st hit, it was okay, 2nd hit, it was much better, about 5 into this stuff and I fell in love. It is a strong flavor and it takes some getting used to. The cherry isn't overly medicinal in taste and is more of a fruity version. The tobacco is rich and sweet, and the overall flavor is quite clean. Throat hit is solid but smooth at the same time.

All in all, I would say that BWB has tackled some interesting tobacco flavors and done it very well. Some of their unique flavors are just that, VERY unique. I would sample something that you are on the fence about before buying a large bottle. Vapor production is clouds on all of the juices that I have and the shipping is quite fast as well.

Thanks for the review.
I appreciate the objective way you describe each flavor.
How long did you have them before you vaped them?
Don recommends a week or two steep time with his tobacco flavors.
I think you may love the ones you like...given a little time.
I'm not a methol guy either. I thought it was a better than you describe it after a couple of weeks.
Thanks again...nice job!

Wait, maple flavors are all notorious for killing attys? That was going to be my next order, maybe not. Why do they kill attys?

I have a single 306 atty and a 510 LR that have shared about 90mls of BWB Maple with no ill effects.

BWB maple is predominately tobacco vape with a brown sugar/maple finish/aftertaste.
It is not like vaping a maple syrup flavor.

I grew to really enjoy maple over time. I also found that HFN given a month will knock your socks off!!! i agree with AG likes turn into loves over time and sometimes disliked juices grow on you as well. I see you have been a member of ECF for awhile but havent posted much. i would like to hear more from people who have been vaping since early on. You guys tend to have some invaluable knowledge as you've watched vaping evolve.

Thanks for the review

BWB is the Jim Jam. The Applewood, 555, RY4, and Hunter's Blend are the best 4 juices I've ever had. I've yet to try the Melonbacco but I'm sure it's awesome since every BWB flavor I've tried has been. Do yourself a favor and order from them.

Melonbacco is the BWB undisputed king of throat hit...will not disappoint!

LoL I am definitely not one to ask things of...I joined a LONG time ago, but didn't really consider myself a vaper until the other day. I vaped for a month back in 09, but it wasn't for me then so I went back to analogs. I made a thread in the newbie forum explaining that I think I didn't like it because of the juice I bought... but BWB has made me in LOVE with vaping! However, I can assure you that things DEFINITELY changed since back then. I thoroughly researched e-cigs the first time around and had to thoroughly re-research everything again.

actually AG I am going to dispute that. I think HF and HFN when they've steeped for a couple weeks is about the most amazing throat hit this side of hot cinnamon juices.

Enfurno....nice job on the reviews, enjoy the juice. and as mentioned, go back to some of those you didn't like as much in about 2 weeks. You might just change your mind. If you don't, you'll have plenty of people willing to take the juice off your hands.

Well, I think you are wrong, because I'm always right, AND my opinion matters more than yours does! So there! Lol!
