Hello everyone, so I decided to give Backwoods Brew a shot and ordered 6 of their tobacco juices. I have been stuck on a few of my favorite flavors from v4l for some time now and figured that it was time to switch it up and try something new. The reviews had me intrigued so I ordered 6 10ml bottles to give BWB a fair shot at calling some of my cartomizers home. On to my findings.
Honey Flue Nut - I was pleasantly surprised with this juice. It is a touch sweet, a touch nutty, and very clean tasting all around. The throat hit isn't much but it is just enough to make this a nice calm vape. The honey is definitely in there, the nut is that of a sweeter nut but I can't pinpoint exactly which nut flavor it is. If I had to guess I would say it is a few different nut flavors mixed together, but then again I am just guessing.
Menthol Medium - I must say, I am not a fan of this juice. When ordering the menthol juice you will notice that you can select the strength of the menthol flavoring itself. I figured that "medium" would be a decent amount of menthol and not overpowering as I have found with some menthol juices. I was completely wrong, in my opinion "medium" should be called "extra low" if we are scaling it in any way. Also, the sweetener used seems to leave a milky/chalky film in my mouth which I personally do not like. This isn't a horrible juice by any means, it just isn't a true menthol juice in my book.
Virginia - Wow, this stuff is nice. I really enjoy this Virginia and I have had Virginia juices from several other vendors. This one if you ask me is the best, by far. It is sweet, but not overly sweet, it is spicy, and it has a great moist tobacco flavor. I love this stuff and can't stop puffing it.
Casablanca - This juice is not for the weak. Be aware that this is a VERY unique flavor. I personally cannot vape this all of the time and have found it best when having a few drinks and looking for a nice heavy and complex vape. The taste is that of a very rich tobacco with a strong undertone of cocoa. NOT chocolate, I get cocoa. Stick your finger in a tin of unsweetened cocoa and that is exactly what I am talking about. It is a dry flavor, it is a very rich flavor, and I would certainly recommend this to anyone who like a very strong and complex vapor.
Maple Tobacco - I gave this a shot, I am not a fan of many juices that contain maple flavoring for the reason that they all taste basically the same and they all gum up any atomizer/cartomizer very quickly. This juice isn't bad, it has a good tobacco/maple mixture, but it was exactly what I expected and it has killed 1 cartomizer already.
Cherry Tobacco - 1st hit, it was okay, 2nd hit, it was much better, about 5 into this stuff and I fell in love. It is a strong flavor and it takes some getting used to. The cherry isn't overly medicinal in taste and is more of a fruity version. The tobacco is rich and sweet, and the overall flavor is quite clean. Throat hit is solid but smooth at the same time.
All in all, I would say that BWB has tackled some interesting tobacco flavors and done it very well. Some of their unique flavors are just that, VERY unique. I would sample something that you are on the fence about before buying a large bottle. Vapor production is clouds on all of the juices that I have and the shipping is quite fast as well.
