I have Applewood that is 2 weeks old and 5 days old. Both taste bad. I'm dying to get the flavor of this and would like to order more to stay ahead of steeping time but I'm kind of afraid to. Your thoughts??
If you still think it tastes horrible after 2 weeks, it's not looking good. Chances are it's not 100% steeped yet, but it should be getting close. If you still don't like it now, I doubt it will change much to the point that you'll love it in another week or two. Sounds like that flavor might not be for you....
I agree, my only other suggestion would be to vape for it an hour or two and hope your tastebuds change their mind. But yea it's sounding like you just don't like it.
I don't know it seems to have no flavor just a bad taste. My Cherry Tobacco and Melonbacco are fine and so are the fruits and my wonderful Expresso. Maybe it's the apple in it that takes longer to steep.
Try this. Take the bottle and give it a good shake for about 1-2 minutes. Then try it and see if it has any flavor. My Cherry tobacco went bad on me. No flavor at all. When I shook it up real good I noticed it went from clear to cloudy. When I tried to vape it, it had a chemical taste. It went bad. My applewood lost most of its taste, after a good 1-2 minute shake, it tasted fine again. And its also possible that you just dont like that flavor of apple.
If you have made multiple orders from a vendor and don't like any of batches, maybe its time to try a different vendor.
When I got my applewood a week and a half ago, the apple flavor was too overpowering. Now I don't taste the apple at all and that is just fine. Lots of vapor and very mild tobacco flavor. If you want a very strong tobacco/menthol flavor that drop kicks you in the face every single drag day in and day out, try the ejoker blend.
It usually taste pretty good before it steeps, just a bit weaker... so chances are that you don't like it or there was a quality issue.
You should ask Don.
and... you don't really get a strong apple flavor... more of a tangy finish... like melonbacco, but a bit less.
