I'm sure you'll be more then satisfied, In fact I guarantee it. :)

Got my order in today, I'm trying my first resurrection unit and I like it! At 3.7-3.9 it's kickin ..... Feel's like the good ole Boge 3.0 on 5v, only it holds more juice. Right now I have been using only DeKang Desert Ship/Camel in everything so I can tell what the different carto's do. The resurrection unit is performing well (sorry, I like the term). Thanks.

I came here looking for the resistance on the dual coils, and found the answer. But then I started reading about the Resurrectors. It looks like you can't go wrong with either one, but the budget will only support one purchase right now. So my question, to one and all, is: On a standard 3.7v box mod, which do you prefer and why?

Standard parameters apply - taste, TH, ease of refill, and how do they affect battery life.

Thanks,
Jim

Jim. I have tried LR standard, and the Resurrector on my Ego (3.4 volts nominal) and my Foxy Box (3.7 volts verified). Here's why I prefer the Resurrector. BTW, This was sent to me as a smaple with another CCV order).

1. Larger juice capacity.

2. Warmer vapor. It performs to my taste as well as a dual coil, and certainly as well as a regular resistance carto, on my 5 volt box mod.

3. Solidly built. I have now refilled the Resurrector five times with no discernable loss of vapor production. The coil is still cranking...no problem.

Taste is good. I don't know what the filler is in the Resurrector, but it's I think, different from other cartos I've used. It seems more "taste neutral," but that may be my perception and YMMV.

TH and flavor are so liquid-dependent that I won't comment on them here. I really don't think that the cartomizer affects TH as much as some around here do, but again that's my perception and yours will certainly be different.

Currently vaping KBV Ry 4 in the Resurrector at 3.7 volts...and my, my, my...it is tasty.

Morepyro,

No. It's apples vs. oranges. The two experiences are very different, and as I said above, much depends upon the juice I am using. I like the standard resistance cartos, single or dual or even triple coil at 5 volts, I prefer the Resurrector at 3.7 or lower, but sometimes I still use 2.0 +/- at 3.7, particularly with darker e-liquids.

All I know for sure is this: With a heavier juice, like KBV's Ry 4 or Caramel Cappuccino, or Vermillion River's heavier tobacco juices like their Kentucky Cherrywood, or GV's Maiden Coffee, I prefer the Resurrector. Currently vaping KBV Ry 4 on a 3.7 v. box mod using a Resurrector, and it's *all* good.

Note. Use a syringe to fill the resurrector, otherwise it will take all day and into tomorrow to fill the carto. The thing holds a *lot* of e-liquid. :D

Ciego-

Thanks for the clarification. Since most of my juices are VG tobacco flavors, this type of information is very helpful.

I've got a massive road trip coming up in a few weeks, and I'm looking for something that will go a long time between refills.

You'll have to stop to drain the main vein, more often you have to refill a resurrector. :)

Very true. I tend to do my pit stops "NASCAR" style - get in and get back on the road as quickly as possible, so my goal is to load up enough cartos to last the day.

With the amount of clutter I will already have in the car within arms reach (cell phone, iPod, GPS, beverage, snacks, etc) I'm running out of places to stash stuff. I like to keep 3 or 4 cartos on the dash so I can switch flavors and nic strength as I go. I have some of the CE2 XL clearomizers now, but I find they take some of the flavor out of the juice, and they are kind of a hassle to use and fill.

Just wanted to Pop in and let you know that I am really loving the black and mild juice. Thank you so much for the sample. I would totally buy it if you put it on the site. I love the strong tobacco flavor with the hint of sweetness. With the 1.7 cartos you sell, it is the closest I've felt to smoking since I started vaping. If that makes any sense. It is very satisfying and the vapor is full and thick. It feels heavy in your lungs the way smoking black and milds used to. I think I'm going to need some more. :)
