My fanboyism goes to Milwaukee, Metabo and Hilti.

That isn't fanboyism. Just check out some of the woodworking forums and look for the Festool fanboys.
I can't see myself spending $750 on a cordless drill or $800 on a dust extractor but lots do and then try to convince others that they are stupid if they don't as well.

Yup, Festool is right up there imo. Firstly, Lee Valley to me is "Church" and when they brought in the Festool line to help make it easier to separate me from my money, how could I say no?

I was all ready to start a rant thread about the classifieds. People selling kicks for $60 and ggts for $700.

It just kinda makes me sick. The lava tank where people are selling ss tanks for higher prices, when they are still available at normal prices.

That being said, I am in the list for a Zen. A new one at the un-inflated price
