Just popping in to say that while I am in Texas for the next couple weeks, I will be "connected", so if anyone has any questions, feel free to ask. I will be back and ready to get to work again on the 28th. :)
Now if I could just vape away on the train, I'd be set. :vapor:

Stealth vape! When you inhale, hold it for a second or two longer - then before exhaling, breathe in through your nose. Then when you exhale, no vapor! It's not visually pleasing but it will give you nicotine enough to hold you over :)

Yeah, I did that some when it was 2-3 hours between stops. I thought about just asking if the compartments had detectors, but didn't want to arouse any suspicions.

If you have a private compartment, blow the vape down your shirt or in a hanky or something.
It would surprise me if a detector could detect vapor if it wasn't blown into it.

:)

Well, just a few more days in Burnet, Texas, will be back on that train early thurs. morning. Nice country here, certainaly different than the west Texas I lived in, in the 50's. Lots of trees here. People in Texas are very friendly, sitting on the front porch, people will give you a wave as they drive by. Not used to that. :) I think one of my favorite things here is sitting on the porch at dusk, watching the fire flies flitting around. I have never seen those before. It's amazing how bright they are.
Anyway, getting kinda anxious to get back home and get started back up again. Seems it's always nice to get home again.

Hey Loft. I have no way of making a circular block to fit a cup holder. If I were making something for myself, I could probably cobble something together, but, it certainaly wouldn't be anything I'd want to try to sell to a customer. :) The best thing I could suggest would be to try and find a piece of foam and cut to fit. Sorry. :(

No worries. I think I may have asked you that previously, too... lol damn memory. If I had a way to mount a block of wood to my drill press then I would just sand one by hand and put a neoprene sleeve on it... but brain isn't working too well lol.

Just thought I'd pass along a nifty idea for a meter to check batteries that is quicker and easier to use than a DMM with the leads, especially for those of us with arthritic hands. Got an old battery charger with sliders that takes all size batts? If so, make yourselves one of these. I love it! I'm electronics challenged, so it took me a little while of futzing around to get it to work, but finally got it.
