Caffeine Crystal?

Caffeine Crystal…Can this be vaped? Anyone tried it? Concentration? Would be interesting in energy blends. Maybe even use without nicotine for a change of pace now and again. I see it on several of the flavor sites and haven't read anything about it yet. I was thinking about trying it but figured I'd run it past my good friends here at ECF first. Thanks!

Its been brought up here numerous times in the past. I believe the consensus was that with the amount of heat were putting out with our devices and the amount of caffeine generally used with these crystals (or with coffee extracts for that matter), there are little to no effects felt.

You can augment with caffeine powder, but what you run into is that you can easily supersaturate it. The average cup of good coffee has 95mg of coffee for an 8 oz cup. Keep in mind that you get 20gram packs and a gram is 1000mg. If you normally drink 3 cups of coffee in a day, you would want to have a ~300mg or .3g concentration in a size that is not translating well to the volume of eliquid. Basically you can't disperse enough caffeine powder per milligram to really make it worthwhile. You will end up supersaturating your juice if you try. That and there is little know about vaporizing caffeine and its effects.

if you somehow did manage to get enough caffeine into your e juice i would be concerned about how much i was vaping it personally caffeine overdose can lead to you going into shock or having a heart attack among many other things. Also not knowing how much caffeine goes into your system when inhaling rather then consuming.

personally i wouldn't touch it with a 10 foot pole.

Thanks for all the input. Sounds like an overwhelming NO! Physically impossible and dangerous to boot. Next time I will do more research before asking but I really do appreciate the info.

There is no stupid questions lol if we didnt like answering peoples questions we wouldnt hang out in the forums. Im just glad you asked before u just went ahead and did it, am I saying its deffinitly dangerous? No. I have no idea all I know is to me its not worth the risk.

Caffeine overdose through vaping is hardly possible. It is not enough soluble in PG,VG or water. For the same reason it isn't much effective. There is thread here.
