Calgary Area Get Together #1

The Electro Vapors team is holding a vape social for people in the Calgary area. This evening is intended to be a casual social get together for ecig users (vapers). We will bring alcohol swabs so people can share flavors. We will also have a few cartridges loaded with special flavors that you may not have tried. Please bring your e cigs, cigars, mods, any juice you would like to share and any DIY recipes you would like to share. Bring you appetite too as wings are on special for only .25 cents, there are 3 pool tables and reasonable drink prices

EVERYONE is welcome! We would love to see you there.

Please try to let us know by the end of the week (Friday) if you plan on coming - so we can reserve enough space. Respond by email:info@electrovapors.com If you do not reserve but can still show up, that is fine too.

The social will be held at:

Juliet's Castle Sport Pub (New Owners, fully renovated)
440 16 Avenue NE (Located right on 16th ave 2 blocks east of Peters Drive and across the street from Bubble Mania), Calgary

Tuesday November 23rd - 7:00 pm to whenever.

It is also "wing night" at Juliet's Castle. .25 cents per wing. Num Num

Thanks all. We have been working on this for a while. Had to keep changing dates, Venue twice, dates, then Venue. The Castle will be a good fit for the first social and will take it from there. I hope we get a good response. Although the owner is cool with vaping, he was not sure about having the vape social at first. Hoping we have a really good turnout to prove him wrong.

On a side note, I'm looking to pick up an Ego for my brother for xmas. I've been getting my gear from a different CAN supplier, but hey is the Trex just a differently branded Ego?

the Calgary Vape Social will go ahead tomorrow evening. We're looking at around 20 people who plan to come - more would be better but we're going to have fun anyway (least I am...)

Vape Night number 1 in Calgary.

The night started with the announcement that Calgary was the 3rd coldest place on earth (thank goodness it was spring in the antarctic!).

I had my first experience sliding sideways uphill in a vehicle, while trying to ignore my cellphone.

7 brave souls conquered nasty, icy roads to make it to vape night. What a great bunch though! We had eliquids from across north america, a DIY mix, some interesting conversation about mods, liquids, cold weather and "WHY" our forefathers thought settling here was a good idea!

Other bar patrons watched with great curiosity while we vaped and they fled into the cold for a brief puff. Some wandered over to see what all the clouds were about.

One brave vaper actually drove all the way across town without heat in his vehicle. He deserves great kudos! Had an interesting looking mini that lasted nearly a year.

We're planning to hold Vape Night Calgary #2 in January. Of course, we're mostly hoping for a night that's clear and warm with great roads and a fantastic turn out. Hoping a few more vendors and new start-ups will make it out.

I'll post a video when the kids get around to editing it for the "cool factor".
