Calgary meet? Who puts on meets?

Seriously, when is there going to be a meet in Calgary or Edmonton?! Every other province seems to be having meets but ours. I'm jealous and want to try all the stuff for free too! I live in Lethbridge but would be willing to make a weekend of it. Who puts them on in other provinces? Is it just a bunch of Vapers getting together or do you have sponsors etc. ?

I don't think anyone goes in there any more.
There was a few meets about a year ago, hosted by kat and the electrovapors team. I couldn't make any of them due to work. Plus I think one of the nights it was snowing like a ......., and was super cold. I'd be into it if there was meet or two this summer. Maybe all the Calgary area vendors should organizize something.

I know Wood tried to get something organized here for Edmonton, but nothing ever really developed out of it. But if something can get organized in Calgary I'd definitely be down for a road trip!

Lets have it in Edmonton!! I have no idea where we could go to vape. I'd love to vape at a patio at Brewsters (or someplace similar) with Bob (name for my SB) in one hand and their delicious beer in the other hand and meet some vapers.

K, I just heard back from Kat at electrovaper, she says next week there's a meeting to discuss a Calgary meet! I guess the other couple they hosted were poorly attended, but she very much would like to have another. I'll let you know when I hear back from her again. YAY!

I lived in Calgary for close to 20 years. The C-Train's one of their better ideas, for sure. Nice quick, efficient, and above all green way of getting around town. Probably so much more now that the city's expanded beyond belief. (Not one of their better ideas.)

An aside: If you've ever watched Superman III, in one scene you can see a C-Train going through the shot in the background. I'll have to rewatch it one day and play Spot-The-Calgarian-Landmarks.
